Improved Coach & Creator Login + Observation Updates

By Alchemy Support |

It’s now easier – and more secure – to use Alchemy Coach and Creator.

Tap and Go with Updated Alchemy Coach

Coach now saves each user’s login credentials. This means each Coach user only has to enter their username/password at setup and create your unique PIN. From then on, their credentials are saved. A supervisor can just tap their name and enter their PIN to start using Coach.

Simply update your Coach app to version 2.3 to save time by making logging in easier than ever. And remember, be sure to transition any devices running versions prior to Coach 2, since they will no longer be able to sync after February 19th!

Say Good-bye to Creator Login Popups

It’s the little things that matter! So now Creator will remember your login across the different features, causing fewer pesky requests to re-enter your password.

This improvement is automatic.

SAML Single-Sign-On Is Here!

If you know what SAML is, you’re already cheering. If you don’t, just tell your IT department and they’ll cheer for you! The key takeaway, though, is you can use one Alchemy username and password across Manager, Creator, and Coach.

This improvement will be automatic in Creator 3.3, and will occur in Coach by when the app is updated to version 2.3. If you have issues, check with your IT department, as they may have placed restrictions on receiving updates.

Coach Observation Content Keeps Getting Better

In addition to better user experience, Coach content keeps getting better! When you update your Coach app:

  • All 25 BRC-related observations have been updated to reflect updates in BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 8.
  • Observations for both SQF Edition 7, and BRC Issue 7 have been retired.

We hope you enjoy these improvements. As always, we value your feedback and can walk you through any questions you may have. Please contact support@alchemysystems.com if you need assistance.
