Meet Paul Reynish – President of Intertek Alchemy

By Intertek Alchemy   |

Intertek Alchemy is proud to welcome Paul Reynish as the new company president. Reynish is no stranger to the food industry nor the demands and challenges global companies face today.

He comes to Intertek Alchemy with more than 25 years of international executive leadership experience with high-profile hospitality and quick service restaurant brands in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and North America.

Reynish recently served as president and CEO of Five Guys International Restaurants in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to that position, he was the international chief marketing officer at Dunkin’ Brands in Boston, Mass., and vice president of operations in Tokyo, Japan where he was responsible for over 5,000 stores throughout Asia-Pacific.

In addition, he served on the board of Baskin Robbins Japan for five years and Baskin Robbins Korea for three years. Reynish also worked in a global executive capacity for Burger King in New Zealand and Australia.

Working with these companies in a leadership capacity helped Reynish realize first-hand the importance of safety from the perspective of multiple employee cultures and regulatory environments. With this insight he’s ready to engage with Intertek Alchemy customers to learn about their challenges and transfer their input into the further development and delivery of Intertek Alchemy products.

“During my time with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, the issue of food and worker safety was always first and foremost,” said Reynish. “And I look forward to improving food and employee safety from the food production side of the house and expanding the company’s presence in manufacturing on a global scale. I’ve always been immensely impressed by the company’s training solutions, its commitment to food and workplace safety, and its 97% customer retention, which is the envy of the industry.”

Reynish’s appointment comes at a time of rapid global growth for Intertek Alchemy, including its expanding number of customers in Latin America and Europe where it’s providing comprehensive training, reinforcement, and compliance solutions tailored to each country’s cultural and regulatory needs.

He will relocate from London to Austin just in time to capture some of the Texas summer heat.
