California to Provide $120 Million for Training Purposes

By Product Management Team |

Urgent news — the good kind — for California businesses: The California Employment Training Panel (ETP) will award $120 million in state funds this year to help employers offset costs associated with workforce training. Intertek Alchemy can help you apply for this!

State funds are an excellent way to budget for new training tools and supplement the time you invest in your most valuable assets — your employees.

What California Is Doing for Employers

In response to COVID-19, the ETP is prioritizing applications from critical and essential industries as defined by the Governor’s Office, which includes Food Manufacturing, Beverage Manufacturing, and Agriculture. The maximum award per employer is $650,000 to use over the course of the next two years.

But once the funds run out, they’re . . . out. You may have to wait a full year until the state replenishes this program.

So, it’s time to act quickly, and we can help. Through our CA ETP application partners, we have a successful track record assisting clients of all sizes through the process, securing state funds ranging from $88,504 to $514,080.

Use These State Funds to Take Training to the Next Level

The more ways you deliver training and job skills development will result in more state funding.  The more employees you include in training also equates to more state dollars.
