Established in 2011 with the vision of becoming an internationally recognized source for Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) training programs, the FSPCA continuously supports their contributions to the human and animal food industry by way of education, training, and outreach. “PCQIs play a critical role in writing and assessing Food Safety Plans that ensure the safety of our food supply. That’s why we provide a self-paced online course followed by an interactive virtual session to thoroughly cover preventive controls, recordkeeping, verification and validation procedures, and food safety hazards,” says Jeff. “I’m honored to be recognized again by FSPCA as one of the Top 10 Instructors for teaching the Preventive Control for Human Foods course to help support the food industry.”
Jeff brings over three decades of food safety expertise to his roles as a consultant and Lead Instructor for both PCQI and HACCP. He is committed to providing trusted, quality training to food safety professionals at every stage of their food safety journey. Through Intertek Alchemy, Chilton was the first PCQI Lead Instructor to deliver a 100% online PCQI course in a blended eLearning format. This industry-leading PCQI Training Course is available through Intertek Alchemy’s sister online platform Zosi Learning. Once the course and virtual session are completed, participants receive an FSPCA PCQI Certificate of Completion and 20 hours of Continuing Professional Education Credits.
Little Big Farm Food’s QA Manager, Danny Gouin, praised Jeff’s PCQI course by saying, “In my opinion, this was the most informative and complete training experience I have received. The methods of teaching allowed me the flexibility to learn at my own pace and the live portion of the lesson was very hands-on, engaging, and allowed the class to ask questions relative to specific functions within their own organization. I would recommend this course to anyone, no matter the skill level they are currently at.”
With thousands of food safety professionals having received their PCQI training from Jeff Chilton over the years, as well as numerous companies benefiting from his food safety consulting services, the human and animal food industry is safer and better prepared to prevent and manage potential hazards, which in the end, benefits us all. Thank you, Jeff, and congratulations on receiving this incredible distinction, two years in a row.
